When reviewing this privacy statement you should be familiar with the terms "personally identifiable information" and "aggregate information." Personally identifiable information is any information that can be used to identify, contact, or locate you as an individual. Common examples of personally identifiable information are your name and email address. Aggregate information is composite information that groups information about you with other individuals. This kind of information can not be used to identify individual contact information or track individual patterns.
Website Usage & Data Collection
OIC Group is committed to the responsible use of information provided by our customers, users and visitors to our Web site. In general, anyone may visit www.oicgroup.net without telling us who they are or revealing any personal information. There are occasions, however, when we do need to obtain information from our visitors. For example, we track the total number of visitors to our site on an anonymous aggregate basis. In no way do we associate this aggregate data with personal information. When OIC Group receives information about your visit or about you, we may use it for research or to improve our Web site and the services we offer. We may also use it to continue contact with you via e-mail or other means (to send you new information or notification of special offers). If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact us through our web form.
While IP addresses are logged to track user sessions, the user remains anonymous. We may analyze this data for certain trends and statistics, such as which parts of our site users are visiting and how much time they spend there. We do not link your IP address to anything that would identify you personally.
Any and all information furnished to OIC Group by you is for our internal use only. It is not sold to any third parties.
Refund Policy for Design and Programming Services
All website design and programming sales are final, with some accept ions for refunds of unused funds. In most cases, design mockups are created and approved after a deposit is requested. A detailed contract must be signed and returned with the deposit so that both parties are clear of all requirements before proceeding. A contract may be negotiated before signing but must be adhered to once a signed agreement is complete. If you agree to mock ups but fail to follow through with a project, we retain the right to bill you for time taken to create the mockups at our regular hourly rate of $50.
OIC Group may accept a refund request in some cases, at our discretion. If unforeseen circumstance cause the termination of a project where there is a balance of unused funds from a retainer, we may refund a portion of or all of the unused funds, at our discretion, based on the cause of project termination.
Return Policy for Hosting Services
All hosting is guaranteed 99.9% uptime and 100% client satisfaction. If a refund is requested for downtime, OIC Group will refund a prorated amount, which is the total amount paid minus any time used in the current hosting term.
We generally bill quarterly or annually for hosting and generally do not enforce long-term hosting service contracts. If a client cancels hosting for whatever reason, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund of any pre-paid hosting fees from the date of your ACTUAL termination (not just notice of intended termination), meaning the date that your account is no longer hosted with us.
Return Policy for Printing
Printing costs are refundable only if printing error is determined to be our fault. We are not liable for damages incurred due to printing errors or problems from our files if full specifications from your printer were not provided or were incorrect/inaccurate, or if you supply the wrong files to your printer.
If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute (i.e. PayPal Dispute) from a credit card company or bank, your service and/or project will be suspended without notice. A $50 chargeback fee (issued to recover fees passed on to us by the credit company), plus any outstanding balances accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, files delivered, or any further work is done. Instead of issuing a chargeback, contact us to address any billing issues. Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from us is fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund. Please read and make sure you fully understand our refund policy prior to making a payment.
