Content Workflow
Exponent contains a robust work flow and approval system, which allows content to be entered by content editors, but is optionally required for approval by defined approvers before being published live.
Content approval rights are permission based and can be applied globally on content, or applied to just a single piece of content and can be assigned by user or by group.
Numerous work flow processes can be defined and then applied to various pieces of content, which allows for extreme content approval flexibility. For instance, you may require content on a particular department calendar to go through one particular person for final approval before being published, but you may define a multi-person required, “pooled approval” policy for home page content, which must be approved by more than one person from a pool of potential approvers.
Because of the group permissions system, work flow is resistant to changes in content and content approvers.
